Ricardo is a Civil Engineer with 12+ years of experience executing major construction projects, across Portugal. He focuses on the energy sector and essential infrastructure for EDP, REN and other utility companies. Using a consultative approach, he interfaces with clients to gather their requirements, enforce quality controls, and achieve deadlines on schedule and within budget.

Now, he leads a technical department of 20+ personnel who steer the internal adoption of Building Information Modeling. This emerging methodology enables construction companies to render 3D visuals, improve communication and site management, and drive interconnectivity. This empowers teams to reduce human error and refocus efforts on quality, safety, and meeting rapid deadlines. Currently enrolled in the Executive MBA, he is exploring ways to use AI and other cutting-edge tools to enrich construction industry activities while sharpening his understanding of financial operations, marketing, and 360- degree controls.
