Nuno de Oliveira International MBA

MULTILINGUAL PROJECT MANAGER & LEADER KNOWN FOR ASSEMBLING HIGH-PERFORMING TEAMS AND SCALING BUSINESSES

Nuno is a versatile Project Manager & Team Leader with 20+ years of experience assembling high-performing departments, mentoring multicultural eCommerce/B2B staff, and using Portuguese, Italian, and English fluency to align international stakeholders’ visions.

Starting his career while pursuing an undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Ethics, and Political Science, he balanced his studies with work as a Data Entry Clerk for Portugal’s Ministry of Finance. During this period, he seized the opportunity to become fluent in Italian and immersed himself in Italian culture. Inspired by these experiences, he moved to Italy to pursue a career in project management. Working for a technical manufacturer of ventilation products, he led remote teams, managed budgets, negotiated contracts, partnered with insurance companies, and enforced quality controls. Three years and two companies later, he returned to Portugal with extensive experience and a desire to work in high-stakes international environments.

At H.B. Fuller, he improved systems for Italian adhesive distributors, handling order processing, consignment, stock management, quality complaints, and business queries. After five years, he joined Farfetch, a pioneering eCommerce unicorn company, where he revitalized the Italian Partner Service Team, which managed operations for 50% of the company’s retail partners, growing the team from a handful of undertrained agents to 25 ambitious overachievers and broadened its action scope with a focus on Operational Cost Negotiation. In his last year, the team recovered 2M€ in negotiation costs with the Italian boutiques.

At Dott (later acquired by Worten), he built a team of 10+ agents from scratch recruiting talent from seven different countries, optimized processes, drafted manuals and delivered hands-on training.

With the MBA from Porto Business School, he intends to blend the newly acquired skills and past experiences in a more strategic leadership role.
