Luis is an IT leader with over 20+ years of experience implementing digital transformations and optimizing infrastructure in the banking & financial services sector, with a special focus on authentication. He assembles & leads high-performing teams that oversee access management, safeguard sensitive information and mitigate risk. Currently, he manages a significant budget for investing in IT improvements at BNU Portuguese Bank, one of East Timor’s leading financial institutions. As BNU’s Head of IT, he lives abroad in East Timor’s capital, Dili, where he enjoys tropical weather year-round and tunes into Porto Business School’s Digital MBA remotely.
