Filipe is an Engineering Leader with 14+ years of experience operationalizing engineering and leading business operations, consistently delivering results by merging technical expertise with strategic leadership, formulating impactful sales strategies, and assembling & coaching high-performing teams. His sector of activity allows him to span several industries including biotech, construction, textiles, metal, power generation, renewable energy, and cork & general machine manufacturing. Each sector expanded his horizons further with the understanding of different business environments and their unique challenges.

Alongside his role as Portugal’s Country Manager at Rossi, a multinational industrial manufacturer, he is pursuing the Executive MBA at Porto Business School, where he is strengthening his financial acumen to reinforce his existing technical expertise. Strategy & team management always came naturally, so he joined the program to explore other disciplines and to deepen understanding of business strategy, innovation, and transformative leadership skills to enhance company performance.
Under his supervision, Rossi’s Portugal operations achieved a 4X revenue increase in five years, steadily increasing profits by 16% throughout his tenure.
